How to reach out to the IC3MT 2024 Conference venue (Phan Thiet City) from Tan Son Nhat Airport:
I. Using chartered buses
1) The conference will arrange two chartered buses pick up participants arriving at Tan Son Nhat Airport (SGN) to Phan Thiet City on September 11, 2024, ONLY, one bus is for participants from Taiwan to SGN and another from Japan. We expect the participants to fly with the same airplane to SGN for the same pickup time, which is more convenient with us. For example, one bus might be arranged to pick up participants from Taiwan with China Airlines CI783 arriving at SGN at 4.20 pm.
2) The return route from Phan Thiet to SGN, there are one chartered buses on September 14 only (for participants who have not joined the field trip) and one on September 16, 2024 only. The time is set up depending on the travel itinerary to make sure coming at SGN airport on time.
3) To arrange more convenience, the participants from Taiwan and Japan please inform us of the travel itinerary as soon as possible, Thanks.
II. Using public transportation in case of cannot go with the chartered buses
There are PHUONGTRANG BUS to and back between Ho Chi Minh City – Phan Thiet City - Ho Chi Minh City. When you arrive at SGN, check out and follow the steps below. On the return airport from Phan Thiet, it is done more easily. You buy the ticket at the Bus station to go to the airport. The Bus company will be supporting the small car to transfer you to the airport when the Bus arrives at Ho Chi Minh station.

Step 1: Arriving Tan Son Nhat Airport
|
Turn right at Exit gate for taxi (Vinasun, Mai Linh, Airport taxi) to Phuong Trang bus station (Hub in Ho Chi Minh City) at address: 288 Dong Den, Ward 10, Tan Binh District, Ho Chi Minh City. The Taxi cost from Airport to this Hub is around 6-8 USD/4 seats car.

Step 2: At Phuong Trang Bus Station (Hub in Ho Chi Minh City)

Buying Ticket from Ho Chi Minh City to Phan Thiet City. Price is about 180,000 VND (8 USD/person). You can also call to book your ticket in advance via the hotline: 1900 6067. No deposit is required; simply call to register and arrive at the bus station (Hub) 30 minutes prior to departure to collect your ticket.

Step 3: Arriving your booked hotel.
|
When you arrive in Phan Thiet, provide the address of the hotel you've booked in advance so that Phuong Trang bus service can take you to the hotel.

Step 4: Arrive at Phan Thiet University to participate in the IC3MT 2024 conference.
|
During the conference, you can travel by Grab or taxi from the hotel to Phan Thiet University. It costs around 2-4 USD/4 seats car.

There are PHUONGTRANG BUS to and back between Ho Chi Minh City – Phan Thiet City - Ho Chi Minh City. When you want to go from Phan Thiet to Tan Son Nhat Airport, check and follow the steps below.

For more convenience, you might use the rental car (taxi, grab car…) to go directly from Phan Thiet to SGN Airport. You can ask the receptionist in the hotel to call the car for you or you can access it directly. The cost of this car is around 100 -120 USD for a 4-seat car.
